Spotlighting Singapore’s Next Generation of Bands This Is Where Dreams Take the Stage

Youth Music Matters is calling on Singapore’s aspiring bands (ages 15-25) to showcase their talent. Eight finalists will perform live at the finals

After reviewing and shortlisting 20 entries, and much deliberation, we are excited to announce the 8 finalists for Youth Music Matters 2025!

The 8 finalists will go head-to-head live on stage at Timbre+ One North on 7th Sep 2025 (Sunday). The winning band takes it all — with the Grand Prize of performing at the 2025 Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix this October.

This free event is open to the public, so bring your friends and family down for an unforgettable day of music and celebration.

How does it work?

Submit your best tracks and performances through our online application form, and our panel of music experts will choose a shortlist of bands to rock the stage at Timbre+ One North in our finals on 7 September.

Are you ready to shine?

  • Simply complete the application form by 22 August.

  • To take part, you must:

    • Be aged between 16-25 years old on the day applications close

    • Currently reside in Singapore

    • Be in a group of minimum 3 to maximum 6 performers

    • Be available on the given dates to register and perform

    • Perform material in English language

    Please refer to the application form for full terms and conditions

  • A panel of judges with extensive experience in Singapore’s live music scene will select 8 bands to advance to the finals.

    • 22 August: application close

    • 29 August: 8 finalists will be announced via email

    • 7 September: Live Performances at the Finals @ Timbre+ One North
